Matthew B. Bolt has joined Larson • King as an attorney. Matt practices in the areas of professional liability, complex torts, product liability, and business litigation.
Prior to joining Larson • King, Matt was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge Louise Dovre Bjorkman at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, where he honed his legal writing and analysis skills and gained invaluable insight into the appellate process.
Matt earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. During law school, Matt worked as a certified student attorney in civil litigation and appeals for the largest public law office in Minnesota. He won his first appeal in state court as a first-year law student and worked with supervising attorneys to achieve successful resolutions in a variety of complex federal cases.
Following his second year of law school, Matt was a summer judicial extern to the Honorable Judge Lucinda E. Jesson at the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He spent his third year as a law clerk at Larson • King working on professional liability, complex torts, product liability, and business litigation matters.
Before attending law school, Matt managed a nonprofit mediation program, negotiating settlements in dozens of civil cases in state court. Matt received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota and furthered his studies at the graduate level at universities in Norway and Russia.
