Welcome, Kenya! Kenya is an accomplished litigator who has tried dozens of cases over his career. He focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, mass tort, insurance, and products liability. Kenya works closely with his clients during the litigation process to ensure all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach favorable results, and has a proven ability to get results that are consistent with his clients’ needs. Kenya’s reputation and qualifications have earned him a membership to the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Before joining Larson • King, Kenya worked as an in-house trial attorney for two large national insurance companies, successfully representing insureds and the corporations in both arbitration and trial. As a result of his experience as in-house counsel, Kenya is effective at deposing and defending witnesses, negotiating settlements, and advocating in alternative dispute resolution forums and trials.
Prior to his work as in-house counsel, Kenya was the Managing Attorney at a Minneapolis law firm, where his practice involved representing the rights of individuals in civil and criminal litigation matters. This plaintiff-oriented work provides Kenya with an insight not held by most attorneys.
Kenya received his Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law) and he received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of St. Thomas.
