On December 10, 2015, United States District Court Judge Richard Kyle granted summary judgment in favor of Walmart in an age discrimination claim under the Minnesota Human Rights Act. Plaintiff, a pharmacy manager, alleged he was terminated because of his age. Judge Kyle found that plaintiff, who had been terminated for failure to follow pharmacy procedures, failed to present evidence that Walmart’s proffered reason for termination was pretext for age discrimination and dismissed the case.
