Carrie focuses her litigation and trial practice on the defense of professional liability claims and licensing board proceedings against physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers. Carrie also provides consultation and guidance to health care organizations and healthcare professionals on ways to manage and mitigate exposure to claims. Over the past 25 years, Carrie has vigorously and successfully defended numerous professionals through trial and administrative proceedings. She also uses her skills at collaboration to effectively resolve cases that may not be suited for extensive litigation.
In addition to being involved in various professional organizations, Carrie volunteers with local animal shelter and rescue organizations and with the Children’s Law Center, providing legal services to children in the foster care system.
Carrie enjoys traveling regularly and tries to apply the ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness necessary for successful travel to her practice of law.
