Congratulations to our partner, Caryn Boisen, the recipient of the 2025 Ramsey County Bar Association Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award, in recognition of her outstanding commitment to humanitarian service and dedication to the Ramsey County community.
Throughout her career, Caryn has given back to Ramsey County and larger Minnesota legal communities through various professional organizations.
Caryn has served in many leadership roles, including past president of the Ramsey County Bar Association and past co-chair of Twin Cities Diversity in Practice. Additionally, as co-chair of the Ramsey County Bar Foundation’s Bench & Bar Benefit Committee for many years, Caryn plans the annual Benefit which raises money for Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, Tubman, and other legal aid organizations.
Caryn also volunteers for the Tubman Safety Project, where she provides pro bono legal representation to domestic violence victims. Her exceptional service earned her the Tubman Safety Project Attorney of the Year Award. These achievements are a few of the many that contribute to Caryn’s impactful career.
Beyond her volunteer work, Caryn is a recognized leader in construction law, her primary field of practice. She has repeatedly been selected to the Minnesota Super Lawyers list, an exclusive recognition given each year to no more than five percent of attorneys in Minnesota who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and achievement. Caryn also teaches construction law as an adjunct professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
