Dominika Alice has joined Larson • King as a Summer Associate. Dominika received her J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law this spring and will sit for the Minnesota bar exam this July. Pending admission to the bar, Dominika will become an Associate of Larson • King this fall.
Dominika will primarily practice immigration law. She has over ten years of experience working as an immigration paralegal in both corporate and private firms, and also as a certified student attorney. Her most recent position was the H-1B Manager/Senior Paralegal at a Minneapolis firm, where she focused on employment-based immigration cases.
Dominika has extensive experience assessing eligibility for various nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and preparing all types of employment-based cases in a high-volume capacity with particular emphasis on H-1B, L-1, PERM Labor Certification, Extraordinary/Outstanding, National Interest Waiver, E-2, E-3, I-140 Immigrant Petition, P-1, TN, and other immigrant petitions/applications. In a prior role, Dominika dedicated over 200 hours to a firm’s pro bono team by preparing affirmative and defensive asylum applications and various removal defense cases.
Dominika’s clients have included prominent U.S. universities and academic institutions, medical companies, IT companies, dairy and cattle farms, multinational companies, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. Her foreign national clients have included university professors, physicians, scientists, business executives, IT specialists, agricultural workers, athletes, and musicians.
As an immigrant herself (originally from Adelaide, Australia), Dominika has firsthand knowledge of the immigration process and is passionate about assisting clients in their immigration journeys. Her professional and personal experience allows her to help employers and individuals comply with federal immigration laws.
Dominika received her B.A. in Communication and Journalism and German from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. Dominika is fluent in Polish.
