Larson • King, LLP is pleased to announce that Margaret Jennings Meier has joined its partnership after practicing with the firm as an associate attorney.
Efficient and practical, Margie’s practice is an intentional hybrid, as it blends who she is with what she knows—merging her Mid-Western Iowa roots with her business litigation prowess. Meier regularly appears in state and federal courts representing clients in business, employment, products or professional liability matters, including those involving the environmental and agricultural economy of the United States. Margie is licensed in Minnesota and Iowa state and federal courts and recently served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the state of North Dakota.
Margie obtained a degree in journalism and entrepreneurial business with distinction from Iowa State University, and then her law degree magna cum laudefrom Drake University Law School where she served as an editor of the Drake Agricultural Law Journal.
Margie is an active leader in bar and business organizations and has served as chair of the New Lawyers sections of both the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association. Margie is a graduate of the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Saint Paul, a community social and economic leadership program and a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
