The U.S. News and Best Lawyers publish the “Best Law Firms” listings to serve as a reference guide to the top law firms located in 170 metropolitan regions in 8 states, and across 120 specific practice areas. Firms are chosen following the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys, and review of additional information provided by the law firms.
To be eligible, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is included in Best Lawyers in that particular practice area and metro.
