Congratulations to Angela Beranek Brandt on being named a 2017 Attorney of the Year by Minnesota Lawyer. Angela was nominated by her peers, coworkers, and clients for this award, which is reserved for attorneys who demonstrate outstanding leadership, advocacy, and service to the profession.
Nominations submitted in support of Angela highlight how dedicated she is to not only her practice at Larson • King, where she is an accomplished first-chair trial lawyer who successfully represents Fortune 500 companies, but also how dedicated she is to leadership, mentoring, and volunteerism. This past year, Angela was elected as President of the National Association of Women Lawyers (“NAWL”), rising to the position after serving on the Board of Directors and holding every officer role in the organization. As President, Angela is working to guide NAWL’s mission of increasing diversity in the legal profession through programs, leadership, and outreach to the organization’s thousands of members. Angela is the past President of the Ramsey County Bar Association, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and has repeatedly been named a Minnesota SuperLawyer.
