TRIAL FOCUS
We try cases. In our office, we have a full-size courtroom with state of the art technology. Our opponents know this and understand that Larson • King is ready to take any case to trial.
TRIAL CAPABILITY MEANS BETTER RESULTS
Knowing how to try cases well allows us, early in litigation, to identify what is important to the outcome. Approaching each matter with the expectation that it will be tried allows us to focus discovery and motion practice on things that matter. We are not discovery litigators that bog down cases with needless work for junior lawyers. Handling cases this way emphasizes strategies and issues that lead to better settlements or trial results.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Our newer lawyers develop significant trial skills and experience early in their careers. Unlike law firms where associates work for years before they take a deposition or appear in court, we train our lawyers from the time they start with our firm, through in-house mock depositions, argument, and trial practice.
We are so committed to lawyer training, trial practice, and courtroom preparation that we have a fully functional courtroom in our office. Our clients and witnesses are prepared through mock run throughs of trial, arbitration, or deposition testimony so they tell the best story for their case. This focus on expertise in the courtroom produces exceptional results.
Larson • King attorneys have tried hundreds of cases to jury verdicts with great success. Our lawyers are comfortable in the courtroom and include former judicial clerks and judges. We are often hired shortly before trial when clients realize that their former lawyers are not up to the task.
