Larson • King attorney Kevin McCarthy received the Young Lawyers Committee Rising Star Award this month at the Defense Research Institute’s (DRI) Annual Meeting in New Orleans. Kevin earned the award for his contributions to the Young Lawyers Committee since joining in 2017.
Kevin’s contributions to DRI include holding several leadership positions within the organization, including acting Vice Chair of the Young Lawyers Membership Committee, the Young Lawyers Liaison to the Commercial Litigation Committee, and the Marketing Co-Chair of the Commercial Litigation Committee. Kevin is also a member of DRI’s Issues and Advocacy Committee’s Artificial Intelligence Working Group and he is the past Vice Chair of the Young Lawyers Sponsorship Committee.
At Larson • King, Kevin practices in the areas of professional liability, product liability, and catastrophic personal injury. Recently, Kevin was the second chair in a two week-long medical malpractice trial, which resulted in a favorable jury verdict for the firm’s clients. See Kevin’s bio here.
